Spring Whispers – Hand-Painted Modern Abstract Floral Oil Painting

Spring Whispers brings a loose botanical arrangement into a tall, contemporary format. Flower-like forms rise from the lower edge across a pale grey-green ground, with slim green stems linking the denser lower section to more open space above. Blush pink, apricot, warm orange, soft yellow, blue and violet marks create a varied palette without losing the light character of the background. Several butterfly forms sit among the flowers, adding small points of movement across the composition.

The painting rewards two viewing distances. From across a room, the vertical arrangement reads as a bright column of colour with a clear upward rhythm. At closer range, individual painted edges, overlapping petals, short strokes and shifts between opaque and lighter colour become easier to notice. The composition remains abstract: the floral and botanical references are recognisable, but the shapes are simplified rather than presented as a precise study of named species.
